5 Reasons Why Alcohol Will Destroy Your Muscle Gains
By Sean Nalewanyj
I receive emails every single day from aspiring muscle-builders all over the world, and one of the most common questions I’m asked is… “Does drinking really affect the muscle growth process?” I’m sorry to say it, but yes, too much alcohol will almost definitely have a significant negative impact on your muscle-building results. … Click Here to Learn More
Day 72 of My Transformation Journey:
If you read yesterday’s update then you know I skipped my workout because I was feeling tired and my joints and muscles were aching as if the flu virus (or something) was trying to invade my body. I decided it would be best to skip the workout and go to bed early. As the night progressed I felt even more worn down and realized I made the right decision to listen to my body.
This morning I woke up and still felt tired and run down. I still had some aches and decided I would stay home from work, basically because I was not feeling well and was too tired to get ready. My body was still working to alleviate this persistant invader and I thought it would be beneficial to rest and even fast for most of the day.
So, I didn’t do much or eat much throughout the day. In the morning I drank the fruit juice mixture I normally drink during my workouts since I left it in the fridge from yesterday. A little later I ate a banana. In the afternoon I had an apple and a couple raw almonds. I also ate some grapes. Then for dinner I ate 4 ounces of chicken breast with pico de galo, spinach and some mixed veggies.
I did a lot of sleeping throughout the day. The good news is that even though something was working to break past my immune system I was not really sick or experiencing a full out flu attack in anyway. My main symptoms were just lethargy with a few aches and pains.
I went to bed around 11:00pm to sleep it off.
